Beaumont Nurse Rewarded for Parking Lot Baby Delivery

In August, Beaumont cardiac care nurse Colleen Joseph (CJ) was in the right place at the right time and helped the Wanagat family deliver their baby in the parking lot of Beaumont Hospital in Troy. CJ was on her way in to work and heard the screams of Anna Wanagat and rushed over to assist in the delivery of baby Joshua. The whole family is doing fine.

Yesterday, CJ was surprised with a special “Thank You” bouquet for her act of caring and happiness from Al and Leslie Robinson, owners of Edible Arrangements® in Troy. Because of her on-the-job heroics, CJ was nominated for and won the Edible Arrangements Metro Detroit Group Random Acts of Happiness, created to celebrate someone in the community who has made the world a better place.

Way to go, CJ!
